Keighleigh Let Me Get a Car

 

Hiya, I’m Beth — and apparently I now own a car. Well, not really, but in Second Life that’s close enough, right?

See, Keighleigh (that’s my wife, partner in crime, and the sensible one of this outfit) let me get this tiny turquoise beauty. And obviously the first thing I did was lean on it like I was about to star in a European road trip movie. Spoiler: I am not. More likely I’d be the one who overpacks, breaks down halfway to Italy, and still insists I looked glamorous doing it.

This photo ended up being my first proper blog post because it sums me up perfectly: no plan, no big idea, just “oh look, shiny thing” followed by “let’s see what happens.” And honestly? That’s exactly what this whole blog is going to be.

What You Can Expect Here

• Photos. Sometimes they’ll be moody, sometimes colourful, sometimes just me balancing on props.

• Behind the scenes. The bits I normally mess up (like lighting the back of my own head — yes, I’ve done it).

• Little rambles. Because I can’t help myself, and Keighleigh’s only patient enough to listen to so many.

I’m not a pro, I’m not a guru — I’m just someone who enjoys playing with scenes, lights, and editing until it feels right. Think of this space as my scrapbook of experiments and happy accidents.

So, welcome aboard. I’ve got a car now (sort of), and a blog. Let’s see which one breaks down first.
